Spot Removal Procedure

A         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material. Saturate spot with DETERGENT (Sure-Pass), allow to set 1 minute, tamp vigorously with brush, flush with water, extract or blot dry. Repeat if necessary.

B         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material. Moisten spot with NON-VOLATILE SOLVENT (Invade), allow to set 5 minutes, tamp occasionally with tamping brush. Apply DETERGENT (Sure-Pass), tamp, flush out with water, extract or blot dry. Repeat if necessary.

C         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material. Moisten spot with VOLATILE SOLVENT (Trounce) and blot with cloth removing as much as possible. Moisten spot with NON-VOLATILE SOLVENT (Invade), allow 5 minutes with occasional agitation using tamping brush. Flush with DETERGENT (Sure Pass), agitate, extract or blot dry.

D         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material. Saturate the spot with  DETERGENT (Sure-Pass), allow to set 2 minutes, agitate with tamping brush, flush with water, extract or blot dry. Saturate with ACID SPOTTER (Restore) and allow to set 2 minutes, extract or blot dry.

E         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material. Saturate the spot with RUST REMOVER (Novel) allow to set 5 minutes, flush with water, extract or blot dry. Repeat if necessary until spot is removed.

F         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material. Steam the spot by covering with white towel and applying a steam iron to the spot. The wax will melt and transfer to  the towel. Moisten the spot with VOLATILE SOLVENT (Trounce), blot dry then saturate the spot with DETERGENT (Sure Pass), allow to set 1 minute, agitate with tamping brush, flush out with water, extract or blot dry.

G         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material. Mix 1 ounce  (5 caps full) of ENZYME CLEANER (BioPlex D) in a quart or hot (120o-140oF) water, apply this solution to the spot and cover with a warm damp white towel. Allow to set for 30 minutes, flush out with water, extract or blot dry.

H         Use caution, test for loss of color in an inconspicuous place. Mix one cap of REDUCING AGENT (Apart) into one cup warm water, apply this solution to the spot and cover for 10 minutes. Repeat if necessary. Flush out with water, extract or blot dry.

I          Spray FRAGRANCE (Lil Squirt) lightly in the area of the spot, leaving the carpet with a fresh and pleasant aroma.

J          Saturate area with DETERGENT (Sure-Pass), working in with tamping brush, flush with water and extract or blot dry. Saturate area with DEODORANT (Lil Squirt), extract or blot dry.

K         Scrape, blot or vacuum excess material.  Saturate the spot with DETERGENT (Sure-Pass), allow to set 2 minutes, agitate with tamping brush, flush with water, extract or blot dry.  Apply ACID SPOTTER (Restore) to the spot and allow to set 2 minutes, extract or blot dry.  If the spot isn't out it may be a dye, so proceed as follows:

Test carpet in an inconspicuous place for possible loss of color or pattern by saturating a test spot with DYE REMOVER (Press-It), covering with a white cotton or paper towel and apply steam from a steam iron for 30 seconds.  If no color shows on the towel, repeat the same procedure for 15-20 seconds on the spot.  Keep towel and spot wet with DYE REMOVER (Press-It), and move towel on each press.  When spot is removed, flush out with water, extract or blot dry.

L         Test carpet in an inconspicuous place for possible loss of color or pattern by saturating a test spot with DYE REMOVER (Press-It), covering with a white cotton or paper towel and apply steam or a steam iron for 30 seconds.  If no color shows on the towel, repeat the same procedure for 15-20 seconds on the spot.  Keep towel and spot wet with DYE REMOVER (Press-It) and move towel on each press.  When spot is removed, flush out with water, extract or blot dry.

M        Remove excess gum with scraper, punch holes in remaining gum, apply GUM REMOVER (Exclude) and allow 2 minutes.  Extract with hot water or remove with damp cloth.  When you can no longer see any material, saturate area with DETERGENT (Sure-Pass), agitate with bone scraper, flush with water, extract or blot dry.

N         Moisten cloth with GUM REMOVER (Exclude) and blot lightly, keeping the adhesive or varnish wet so that it will slowly absorb into the cloth.  When you can no longer see any material, saturate area with DETERGENT (Sure-Pass), agitate with bone scraper, flush with water, extract or blot dry.

O         On reoccurring spots, simply reclean with appropriate procedure.  Cover the spot with a clean towel, and weight it down until dry.  The spot that comes back simply absorbs into the towel and leaves the carpet clean.

P         To treat an unknown spot, apply VOLATILE SPOTTER (Trounce) to a clean cloth and blot the stain, observe if soil has transferred to the cloth.  If there is a transfer, moisten the spot with VOLATILE SPOTTER (Trounce), allow to set for 1 minute, extract or blot dry.  If spot remains, moisten the spot with NON-VOLATILE SPOTTER (Invade), allow to set 3 minutes, agitate lightly with tamping brush, flush with water, extract or blot dry.  If spot remains, follow procedure K.
